The photo that you submitted does not show evident excess skin. If a full muscle repair was done and is intact then it's not clear what will be addressed during the revision. Improvement will depend on the location of excess fat. Fat that is above the abdominal wall can be addressed through liposuction or a tummy tuck. Fat that is behind the abdominal wall is called internal or visceral fat. This is the fat that surrounds your organs and cannot be addressed through liposuction or a tummy tuck but does respond to weight loss.

Your one photo is really not sufficient to answer all your questions, so please ask your surgeon who has examined you.

To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery Procedure we generally need to see a complete sense of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
Based on the pictures you’ve included, your abdominal wall is perfectly flat. It makes a beeline between your sternum and your pubic bone and that is the best you can hope for.
To get a better understanding of what your surgeon is planning to do during the revision surgery I suggest you go back and discuss this in detail. If you don’t know what they are planning to do then perhaps it wasn’t discussed in sufficient detail.
There’s no way for us to know what your surgeon is planning.
Without seeing before, and after pictures, we can’t assess the outcome of your procedure. Based on the one picture you’ve included, it appears to be see no obvious need for further surgery.
If you want a proper second opinion consultation I suggest scheduling those as in person, consultations with other providers in your community. For a second opinion, consultations I suggested patient come prepared bringing with them a complete set of before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report. These are all available from your providers office if you request them.
