Hello I had a tummy tuck 8 years ago and I developed necrosis. The area where the necrosis developed is now hard at the scar and my navel bulge out. I had surgery in Atlanta. A fake surgeon and this happened. I wanted to know is a revision possible?

Answer: Tummy tuck result In order to justify a procedure, there Hass to be a problem that can be ameliorated with that surgical procedure. It would also be helpful to have a better understanding of why you developed necrosis during the first procedure in the decision, making if a revision is appropriate or not. For example, individuals who smoke cigarettes are significantly higher chance for wound Healing complications after tummy tuck surgery. I suggest having a few in person consultations with local plastic surgeons in your community. During the consultations, you can explain what you don’t like about your outcome in the surgeons can access your outcome and explain what can, or cannot be accomplished with a revision procedure. After understanding your candidacy for revision surgery, you can make a better informed decision if revision surgery is appropriate for you or not. It’s not really appropriate to give you a yes, or no answer with limited information. When considering revision surgery, it’s always helpful to have a complete set a before and after pictures. If you have before, and after pictures, then always bring those with you for second opinion consultations. Doctors are required to maintain medical records for a certain number of years and regardless of your providers background or training, they should have medical records. At eight years, they may or may not be obligated to still maintain them. If you know your providers, whereabouts you should consider tracking them down and asking for a complete set of year before and after pictures and a copy of your medical record.
