Hi I had rhinoplasty and after seeing a video about polybeak deformity post op on tik tok I think this may be the case, I will add some pictures after the removal of my cast and now
Answer: Do you have a polybeak? Do you have a polybeak? you may have a slight bit of over projection of the tip and a slight lack of supratip definition, but I would not call it a polybeak. It might be that a small amount of steroid injected to the supratip area could create a little definition between the bridge and tip Which would be a nicer look.

Answer: Rhinoplasty recovery: things you should know Thank you for your question and for providing photos. It appears you may have polly beak deformity, which can occur if too much cartilage is shaved off. Once a full year has passed following your initial surgery, you may benefit from a revision to reshape your nose and better define the tip. Please keep in mind, however, that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to the loss of structural support and scar tissue. The importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to review your surgical history, examine your concern, and help you decide on the best course of action.

Answer: Not a polybeak Hi,I believe your question relates to the shape of your tip?You have a low curved bridge and a round shaped projected tip. Polybeak (parrots beak) is where the tip settles back, and the tissues aboue the tip are too high showing the characteristic form.Hope this helps to explain.

Answer: Polly beak deformity Idon’t really understand the photos. Are these before and after or just a progression of your healing? The photo of you with your hair down looks like the tip has been over shortened. A Polly beak deformity is when the dorsum is lowered too much and the tip does not project leaving it looking round. Yours is similar but a classic case. Nevertheless there is room for improvement if you are unhappy.
