I think I have a slightly deviated septum, & quite a droopy tip of my nose. I have quite a long columella & bulbous tip. When I smile with my teeth, it is uneven, & my top lip doesn’t rise much, my nose tip angles down too. I really believe that my nose is the problem & by having rhinoplasty to remove some cartilage, lift my tip, shorten my nose & columella… it will lift my upper lip. Because when I smile & lift the tip of my nose with my finger - it corrects my smile?
Answer: Rhinoplasty and lip lift There is no doubt, based on these photos, that you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty. It also appears that you may be a candidate for lip lift, including muscle resection. It is best not to combine these two procedures and, in our experience, do rhinoplasty first followed with lip lift 3-6 months later. Lip lift is done in local anesthesia. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Answer: Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for elevating a bulbous droopy nasal tip appearance. After rhinoplasty surgery to elevate a bulbous droopy tip, people typically see more of the white part of their upper lip with smiling. Generally we are not fans of lip lift surgery because it only addresses the central portion of the upper lip and it can also lead to visible scarring. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Answer: How you may benefit from a combined approach Thank you for your question and for providing photos. You appear to be a candidate for septorhinoplasty and can combine this procedure with a lip lift to optimize your results. During septorhinoplasty, your deviated septum can be addressed and the tip can be redefined for a feminine, natural-looking result. A lip lift can also be performed to reveal more of your upper lip and vermillion border for a fuller appearance. Combining these procedures into one surgery can shorten recovery time and produce more dramatic results. It's important to note that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you to help you decide on the best course of action.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and smile: Rhinoplasty and smile: A rhinoplasty can be performed which could reduce the size of your bulbous tip and elevate the droopy tip. The rhinoplasty however will not raise the position of the lip or create more teeth show. In fact in the early days after rhinoplasty the upper lip may be swollen and stiff and less mobile when smiling. There are procedures to lift the upper lip but they involve scarring which at times could be significant, and many surgeons do not recommend such procedures.

Answer: Greetings from Istanbul! Hello! First of all thank you for your question.I have evaluated your case regarding the information you provided and your photos. You have a severe nasal axis deviation to the right, bulbous, droopy tip, hanging lobule and right lip is a bit down while smiling, and upper lip distance is long. You can have a septorhinoplasty operation and upper lip lift to fix those problems as much as possible.

Answer: OOS lip lift Hello ! It looks like you have a deviated septum. Your nose shape can be corrected with a rhinoplasty. Concerning the issue you describe with your upper lip, I personally think you would benefit from a OOS lip lift (procedure I invented, which is an upgrade of the traditional lip lift and includes less scarring) that can be combined with a lower V-Y plasty (to bring more balance to your pair of lips). Best of luck ! Randal Haworth
