I am 55 i jad eyelid surgery 10mth ago for both uppers n lowers , i told the doctor they were festoons he said they weren't and im left with the malar lines in my 2nd opinion i was told they were malar lines and surgery is possible to fix this by extending the scar line but comes with risks, 6000 has gone down the drain, why didnt the surgeon accept his mistake

It’s pretty unusual for people to benefit from a secondary upper blepharoplasty.
Perhaps a brow lift would serve you better.
It doesn’t look like you have skin redundancy of your upper eyelids.
