I had revolax dissolved due to migration. I had 2 sessions of disolving then 1.1ml of lumifill kiss with good results. I then went for 1.1ml of lumifill again done by a student using russian technique. I was left with an uncomfortable cupids bow and lumps so had hylase after 4 months. Cupids bow settled but i have nodules in the right side of top lip. I had 2 more sessions of hylase targetting the nodules but theyre still there. There very hard. What can be done as i cant keep hylasing?
Answer: Deep scar tissue Although we are made to believe that HA based fillers resorb within few months, it does not happen every time. In same cases scar is formed around implant or may be result of small hematoma during the injection. However, hard lumps and nodules are permanent and need to be removed with direct excision. One may try topical injection of corticosteroid like Kenalog first. Consultation with a bpoard certified plastic surgeon would help. Good luck.

Answer: Dissolving Unwanted Filler Nodules/Granulomas Often Requires An Algorithm Of Varying Combinations Of Intralesional Inectables I have had occasion to treat quite a number of individuals who have come to me with these nodules and/or granulomas after having been treated elsewhere with all kinds of fillers and have had success in shrinking them (even those resulting from permanent fillers) employing an algorithm of varying combinations, concentrations, and amounts of intralesionally injected anti-inflammatory agents, especially when hyaluronidase has not been effective or only marginally beneficial. Just make sure that you consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.

Answer: Long term filler issues Do use of fillers can leave long-term changes that are not responsive to reversing enzymes. There is an all you can do other than give it time then work around whatever changes I’ve been left and recognize that there is inherent risk with all procedures. I don’t believe in fillers migrate. It is a term that is used as a poor excuse for bad technique. The importance of choosing sufficiently talented providers cannot be over emphasized. Other than giving it time there is nothing to be done when it comes to changes induced by fillers. There are no medical or surgical treatments for what you described. Fillers can leave long lasting results that are not explained by the product itself. This most likely represents the bodies inflammatory response as their reaction to the previous treatment. Answer: Lip filler Hi there, You need to have a consult with a plastic surgeon that very well could be granulomas or scar tissue and any dissolver would not help. See an expert! Best of luck...
