Had lip filler dissolved due to upper and lower migration How long to wait to have them refilled as don't want migration again
Answer: How long after dissolving lip filler due to migration do you have to wait to have them refilled. Medical assessment/ treatment. Hi Thanks for your question. The length of time you should wait to refill your lips with dermal fillers depends of several factors including the type of fillers used, the area treated. However , as general rule , it is recommended to wait at least 2 weeks after dissolving the filler with hyaluronidase before refilling the lips. This time allows the tissue to fully healed and recovered from the swelling and inflammation. I would strongly recommend you to make an appointment with an expert doctor to perform a medical facial assessment and discuss possible therapeutic plan. Best Wishes, Dr Giuseppe Fiore

Answer: Recommend trying a different type of filler Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Filler after dissolving Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case you could have your lips refilled as soon as 1 week after dissolving with hyaluronidase. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an experienced and qualified medical professional for these treatments. Very best wishes

Answer: Filler migration Fillers do not migrate. I’ve been using HA fillers since Restylane was first approved by the FDA in the 1990s. The concepts of fillers migrating is a convenient excuse providers use to not take ownership of less than ideal results. Each provider will have their own view of when it’s appropriate to re-inject after the use of hyaluronidaze. I suggest you ask your provider or better yet consider finding a provider who does more consistent work. For reference in regards to quality work using fillers I often refer patients to look at the website of Dr. David Mabrie MD in San Francisco. He’s a facial plastic surgeon who’s practice is devoted exclusively to only working with facial fillers. His work is some of the best I’ve ever seen and serves as a reference point what can be obtained using fillers. I’m not suggesting people travel around the world for things like lip fillers but it’s important to know what can be achieved and strive to find providers who can get similar results.
