To make a quality assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have your before and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Without the ability to see what you look like before the procedure, we can’t assess the impact that the surgery had. The before pictures tell us if you were a good candidate for the procedure in the first place. Personally, I don’t believe Renuvion creates any significant skin tightening, and I abandoned using the device a few years ago. It’s hard to tell if your liposuction was done well or not but more of the same isn’t going to fix your problem. It would be important to understand your history in regards to skin laxity, especially a history of previous pregnancies or significant weight fluctuations, which are the two primary reasons why women develop abdominal skin laxity. Based on your picture appears, you may have been a better candidate for a tummy tuck. There is an alternative version of this procedure called the reversed tummy tuck that is not particularly common for a multitude of reasons. It is sometimes used for those who have skin laxity of the upper abdomen only, especially for a women who have it or having the need for, a breast lift or breast reduction. The reason is that the scars of a breast lift or breast reduction are combined with a reverse tummy tuck making the scar making the procedure more acceptable. I generally feel that a standard full tummy tuck is almost always a better option than a reverse tummy tuck , but some plastic surgeons choose a reverse tummy tuck on individuals who have skin laxity of their upper abdomen only. With the exception of proper skin, tightening operations like a tummy tuck, there are no good ways to correct your degree of skin laxity. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
