Can a lateral osteotomy be reversed?

I am so sorry you are unhappy with your surgery. The short answer is yes the effects of osteotomies can be reversed making the nose looked wider again if that is what yo would like. I see this all too frequently and revision rhinoplasty has become the cornerstone of my practice. I would wait at least 1 year until getting a revision surgery as many things will change and get better which is the good news. If you feel like too much was removed from your nose, you may need additional cartilage from your rib or a donor rib for grafting. I recommend giving it some time and following up with your surgeon. They will know best what was done with your nose and should be well prepared to handle any issues that come up. If you would like to see someone else, I recommend seeing a board certified Facial Plastics surgeon with extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty for consult.
