Ive had a series of dissolves and refills in a short space of time (2 months). Ive dissolved all my lip filler now but my doctor suspected fibrosis above my lip when he dissolved because of how thick the tissue is and the noise it made when injecting. I’ve been left with a thicker than normal white roll above my lip. Could steroids or lasers work to flatten this?

Laser treatments – Certain lasers, like fractional CO₂ or Nd:YAG, can help remodel scar tissue and improve texture. This can be useful if the fibrosis is persistent or if you want to smooth out irregularities after steroid treatment.

Time and healing – Fibrosis sometimes softens naturally over a few months, especially after dissolving the filler. Combining careful observation with targeted treatments often gives the best results.
