3 years post lip fillers - Will these lip dents/bumps go away eventually? (Photos)

I had lip fillers 3 years ago, at the time it was a small dent due to me twitching which she said would be fine once the swelling goes down. It never really went away and i found the procedure too painful to go back for a correction and thought it would all just dissolve in the end anyways But it’s been years and my lips are still quite dented & uneven It is much more noticeable when my lips get dry and chapped. Is this something that will just go away with time?

Thank you for sharing your experience — I can hear your frustration. Lip filler results are usually temporary, but there are a few important points to understand when it comes to dents, bumps, and unevenness, especially years after treatment.

Considering that you did not improve for the last couple of years, it is very likely that these lumps are permanent. In order to correct current situation you should consider injection of corticosteroids, and enzyme.  Good luck. ,

They may improve, but after 3 years they are proving quite permanent. Often it is filler, but sometimes it can be something else (e.g. inflammation of minor salivary glands). You should go see someone about dissolving the filler or giving you treatment for inflammation.
