I have a vertical indentation line inbetween my eyebrows. How can I get rid of this? (Photo)

I have a dent inbetween my eyebrows even when I have Botox the dent is still there I can feel it and see it when the light shines on it. I’ve heard that filler is risky in that area is there anything else I could get to get rid of the dent?

First, it should be emphasized that Botox is for quieting the muscles below the skin that are responsible for these kinds of vertical lines; it is less effective for smoothing the creases in the skin that have already been made after years of using those muscles to squint and frown. I routinely treat these kinds of persistent folds with an appropriate low viscosity, malleable cohesive HA filler with very gratifying results. If you absolutely do not wish filler, then subcision, without filler, can be used to elevate and smooth the indentation. You would be wise to make sure that you consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Treating this area with filler carries a higher risk.  Be sure that you are seeing an experienced Botox injector for your treatment.  Botox can soften the appearance of the depression but may not eliminate the look.  You can consider other treatments such as Morpheus8 to help to further soften the appearance.

This region is high risk for filler. It is unlikely to be able to fully get rid of this wrinkle. I recommend continuing high dose botulinum toxin in the area since the muscle causing this can thin out from regular injection. Other options would be laser resurfacing and platelet rich plasma injection (This is not filler. It is used under the eye and for other reasons in the scalp).

Botox will usually work, but now always. Volbella dermal filler given by an experienced injector should be safe and effective.

For starters, I would see a plastic surgeon in person. It is possible that your Botox was not injected well, and that the indent you’re referring to is caused by the surrounding muscles contraction.
