How to fix hollow eyes due to lack of fat pads + thin skin? (Photo)

Question

So I have genetic hollow eyes from lack of fat pads and thin skin. It also makes my IPD look narrow since it makes the area darker. I've been thinking of using volufiline but there's not much research to it so I'm here to get expert opinions. Im thinking filler but also my mindset is more long term, I don't have recessed infraorbitals.

Hey there!You are not alone, this is a problem area for many patients. We have no subcutaneous fat in our under eye area, it is simply bone-muscle-then skin. Our skin there is also different than other areas of our face, it is much thinner. For the darkening and volume loss, I would recommended PRP (platelet rich plasma) or PRF (platelet rich fibrin) injections. I would also recommend assessing the cheek area first before going straight in and treating your under eyes with filler! Sometimes cheeks are the answer! I hope this helps!Thank you!
