How might I feel on day 6 after getting Vaser liposuction to treat my back and bra rolls? (Photo)

Hi all! I have a busy schedule (2 businesses, 2 kids & general life) but I’ve found a window of opportunity to finally have my back & bra roll Vaser I so desperately want. I’d have 5 days clear afterwards (never happens!!) but on day 6 I have already arranged to visit an elderly relative who lives 4 hours away so would be in the car there and back. I can’t reschedule her but I want to seize this opportunity (my clinic has a rare slot). Will I feel dreadful/ will it show/ will I effect results?

First, I recommend that you ask the surgeon that will be performing the liposuction. What does he/she think about length of recovery? 
In general, 5 days should be enough time to heal from liposuction of the back/flanks for you to be able to ride in a car for 4 hours. You will likely need to stop once or twice to get out and stretch. 
I tell all of my patients that recovery after liposuction is an ACTIVE process. Most patients can start light exercise after 3 to 4 days. Don't push it, but being active will improve and speed the healing process!

Hello, the pressure corset you wear after vaser liposuction will reduce your pain sensation. Since the area to be liposuction is small, you can continue your life from the next day. The most important thing here is whether your pain threshold is high or not.

Thanks for the question and posting an image of the area in question. In terms of the surgery for liposuction and vaser, I think that is the correct option. however, with regards to the time after surgery, at 6 days it would be quite early to be travelling seated for that length of time. 
The problems that may occur are related to discomfort in sitting for that period of time, and also how the fixed position for 4 hours at a time will affect the overall healing of the tissue that has been operated upon. 
You would be wearing a compression garment and what  I would advise is if you can't avoid the journey then make sure you have frequent breaks in the journey to stretch and not remain in a fixed position for too long.

It may be worth having a deep lymphatic tissue massage prior to and following the trip to help ease some of the swelling and inflammation that will build up.

If you can travel with the seat lower down so you can lie rather than being upright, that may be helpful as well.

Most patients that I carry out liposuction and vaser upon are usually fine within a week of surgery but some may still have aching that persists into the second week.

This procedure is essentially painless with minimal bruising. If any losing weight prior to the procedure will not make any difference on bruising or pain.
