In those pictures you can see me before (top) and three weeks after Jalupro injections under my eyes (bottom). The right eye has always had much worse eye bags which don’t seem to be going away. Years ago I had tear trough filler but it created bulges under that right eye. Would it be possible to somehow balance the two under eye areas with different amounts or ways of application?
Answer: Tighten and even out skin tone under the eyes with a Light CO2 laser. It will provide a more youthful look. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Dermal fillers and tear trough treatments or PRP therapy may work for you Dermal fillers and tear trough treatments should always be carefully tailored to the patient’s unique skin to achieve balanced results between each eye. It is certainly possible to restore this balance, but it’s important to provide your specialist with as much information as you can to inform an effective treatment based on your history and skin type. In addition to finding an expert to balance the effects of your dermal filler injections, another option may be to work with a specialist who can tailor an approach that combines tear trough treatment with other therapies, such as PRP therapy which has shown excellent results in restoring subtle volume through the healing of skin cells and production of collagen. It’s important to note that the precise set of treatment options for you will depend on your full history and other skin health factors, but we hope this gives you a good place to start!
