Question

Hello, I saw a nurse injector for fillers and I’m truly so upset with the result. I’ve had plenty of fillers done before. Never had these problems. I decided to venture out from my doctor due to cheaper pricing the nurse was offering. I wanted to make my narrow jaw look wider with filler and I wanted mid cheek filler + tear troughs touched up. She did chin, apples of my cheeks, tear troughs and some distorted version of a jawline. I would like a refund so I can get it fixed

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointing filler result.  It is important to select an experienced injector for treatments.  It is helpful to look at before/after photos of their other patients as well.  Based on your results you can consider having the filler dissolved and starting again with a different injector.

As a physician, it's important to me that my patients feel satisfied and safe with their procedures.Firstly, it's crucial to remember that post-procedure swelling and bruising can distort the immediate results. Therefore, it's usually advised to wait for about two weeks post-treatment to see the final outcome. If it's been more than two weeks, and you're still unhappy with the results, you should definitely address your concerns with the injector.
Now, if you believe that the procedure was not performed correctly, and you're experiencing significant discomfort or dissatisfaction, it would be advisable to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for a second opinion. They can assess your situation and provide guidance on the next steps, which could include dissolving the fillers with hyaluronidase if they're hyaluronic acid-based, or suggesting other corrective measures.

Sorry for what you have experienced. You should not bargain shop when something involves your body and your health. Thankfully you did not have a severe adverse event such as a vascular occlusion. You can get this dissolves and start over. I don't know that the nurse will give you a refund, can't hurt to ask,  but you might request that  some of product be  dissolved.
