I’ve had a fair amount of volume loss over my once almond shape eyes. I have looked into surgery but one thing that really bothers me is how deep the volume loss is in the inner corner of my eye, it almost looks purple. Can anything be done about this non surgically? From online pictures I cannot see anything surgically or non surgically that would help.
Answer: Have you been evaluated for ptosis? Based on your singular photo, you appear to have a slightly droopy Upper eyelid margin. This happens, it can lead to hollowing of the upper eyelid. Toast is repair involves elevation of the eyelid margin by several millimeters for Increased visibility of the iris of your eye and decreased visibility of the eyelid shelf. Please consider Consulting with an ophthalmologist or an oculoplastic surgeon. I hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Inner corner hollowing Hello, it is normal to have a concavity within the inner corner of the upper eyelid. To give a little more dimension, may consider either carefully placed HA filler to the sulcus or even some laser resurfacing to improve and thicken collagen and elastin along the thin eyelid skin. Would encourage evaluation and treatment by a skilled oculoplastic surgeon.

Answer: Non-Surgical Solutions for Inner Corner Eye Hollows and Volume Loss A popular non-surgical treatment for hollows in the inner corners of the eye is the use of dermal fillers. These are substances that are injected into the skin to help fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. They can be used to plump up the skin in the hollow areas, helping to reduce the appearance of dark circles and giving a more youthful look. Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane or Juvederm, are commonly used for this purpose. They are safe and effective, and the results can last for several months to a year. The procedure is usually quick, taking only about 15-30 minutes, and can be done in my office.
