I had botox for my forehead creases 1 month ago and now want to get my crows feet treated. The clinic told me I cannot get botox until 3 months has passed due to botox resistance. Is this still a problem if I am treating a different area? I did not realise all areas have to be treated at the same time.
Answer: Botox Yes you can have Botox treatment now for the crow's feet despite having had the forehead treated two months ago. You do not have to have all areas treated at the same time. However the Botox treatment you received two months ago will most likely wear off before the crow's feet treatment.

Answer: Treating multiple Botox areas at different times There is no issue with treating one area, and then treating another area weeks or months later. There is no evidence whatsoever that this type of practice would lead to Botox resistance. Make sure you're seeing an expert physician injector (e.g. dermatologist) so that you always receive the scientific data-backed truth to your questions.

Answer: Botox 1...2...3 Hi there, you can definitely have Botox (or Dysport, or Xeomin) on your crows feet if you had it 1 month ago in your forehead. As long as you did not experience an allergic reaction during the first treatment there is no reason not to have a second treatment. Plenty of my patients want to start slow and try a single treatment. Then, after they realize how much they love the results, they come back to treat additional areas

Answer: Botox resistance Botox resistance is very rare. For medical Botox we can give up to 600 units of Botox every 3 months (I for comparison, you probably had about 20 units in your forehead). At these very high doses I have seen only 2 cases of Botox resistance in the past 28 years. You can absolutely have your crows done now and the odds of Botox resistance is about one in a million. if your injector believes that you can not, then they probably do not know much about Botox.

Answer: Botox use There is no such a thing as Botox has to be used all at once. An individual can have Botox injected into one area of their face on one day and decide to have Botox added elsewhere a week later and another one or two weeks later they can have Botox injected into their under arms for sweating, You have either misunderstood or what you’ve been told is absolute nonsense. If you have Botox resistance or Botox immunity, you should not be receiving Botox at all but focus on getting Myobloc which should work. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
