Recovery from under eye Botox?

Question

Has any one actually seen full recovery after bad under eye Botox? Mine (from a cred derm) caused a massive wrinkle above my cheek bone when I smile. IDoc reassures it will dissipate but have read many accounts on real self that state it has not. I am scared and worried. Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you've had from your Botox treatment. The effects of Botox are temporary.  The product will gradually wear off over three to four months for most patients, though for some it may be a little longer.  Your muscle function of the injected area should return to normal over time.

By the physiology of how botox and other neurotoxins work, unless you have some underlying neuromuscular disease, you will absolutely notice improvement, and the result will dissipate. Usually it takes 3-4mo.
