Combining surgeries with a rhinoplasty? (Photo)

I am planning to get a rhinoplasty abroad and want to combine with additional surgeries to fix my lower face which is asymmetrical and out of ratio. Would it be safe to combine: - Rhinoplasty + vertical chin reduction / jaw alignment surgery (worried smaller nose= chin look even bigger) - Rhinoplasty + lip lift (scarring? if not recommended - get which first?) Worried that some surgeons might say yes, even if it is not safe or recommended, so I want the advice from doctors on here too.

Hi there! Great questions. You will definitely hear different opinions on this issue. I tend to keep a lip lift and rhinoplasty as separate procedures. The arteries of the columella run right through where the lip lift is performed. This supply helps to vascularize the tip and bottom part of the nose. I don't want any disruption in the healing process unless unavoidable. As for combining a rhinoplasty with a chin procedure, you could likely do both. I often recommend the rhinoplasty first and then evaluate how the chin structure has changed, though. Staging procedures is never a bad idea in my opinion. Hope that helps!
