Are you charged for kenalog shots after rhinoplasty?

I live in London and planning to get a rhinoplasty in a couple of months to fix my bulbous tip. From watching videos and researching, I know that if my nose doesn’t heal properly due to scar tissue I would need kenalog shots. Would I be charged for those shots?

This is very practice-dependent. I suspect most surgeons do not charge for steroid injections in the nose in the post-operative period when they performed the surgery.

Hello! after getting a rhinoplasty Kenalog injections are included in your procedure. As long as you get them done with the same surgeon who did your rhinoplasty you wont be charged. There are also different areas and strengths for the Kenalog that can help different arrays of issues such as swelling, breathing, and scar tissue healing. Hope this helps!

Only location we use Kenalog  after rhinoplasty is the supra tip area. If patients have persistence swelling in the supratip area, we typically do not charge for a steroid injection. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
