If breast capsule is removed on one side and not on the other it can cause asymmetry between the two breasts after explant surgery. There are a number of different options for treating breast asymmetry that would not involve putting an implant back in.

I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 8 days post op.You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides, you will be able to see the final result of your breast surgery.

Since you still have tapes on your incisions, you are very early in the healing process and do not need a revision right now. You need to give yourself time to heal. At 6 months, then consider a revision or even a fat transfer if needed.

I understand your concern but more time is needed to determine how the tissues will settle. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon and follow all post operative instructions. If revision surgery is needed it would not occur for a few months yet.
