What breast procedure is best for me? (Photo)

Question

Am I good breast lift candidate? The photos aren’t the best, but I did my best to show my breasts sit. They sit below my chest muscle. I feel as though my upper torso is: chest muscles then breast tissue.: first photo is my chest as normal, second is tensed - you can see how my chest muscles stick out. I have been trying to do research, and I believe I have no upper pole volume. Is this right? I also don’t want implants. Perhaps fat transfer?

A frontal view would be helpful, but yes, a breast lift (no implant or fat transfer) is likely beneficial to help shape and lift your breasts. I think this will help the contour change from the upper chest to the breast mound. Thank you.

Dear anothersixpence,
based on your photos, it looks like you would need breast lift. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

No question you need a lift. You may also want to add some volume in the form of an implant. Fat transfer really doesn’t work so well

Unfortunately, your anatomy of your breast locations, underlying muscles, chest wall, etc cannot be changed.

Your breasts appear to be in good position- can increase upper pole volume for better aesthetics.

An implant would be best, however, fat transfer is a good option for more upper fullness.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.

You do not need a lift and you do have some upper pole fullness. However, naturally your breasts sit somewhat low on your chest and the bases cannot be raised. You will never have high perky breasts.

To make a quality assessment for a plastic surgery procedure we need quality pictures.
Try using the timer on your camera and take pictures from about 6 feet away, showing frontal and lateral images.
The best procedure for restoring volume in the upper half of the breast is implant augmentation.
The indication for a breast lift, usually based on the relationship between your nipple position in comparison to the IMF(infra mammary fold)
Your breast should not be anywhere near the insertion of your pectoralis muscle.
I’m not sure where you got that association from.
I suggest having a few in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community if your breast bother you enough that you’re willing to have surgery.
