What are my options for removing left over areola 1 year after breast lift? (photos)

Can somebody help me or point me In the right direction. Last year I had a breast augmentation/lift. My areolas where large and my surgeon has now left 2 brown stripes going down my breasts, and has said he can’t do anything for me. Can I get these removed, or can someone recommend laser treatment to camouflage this.

You have significant areolar skin left over after your breast lift and this can be removed with serial excision to help improve the scar appearance. You also seem to heal well; in most cases, we recommend pulsed dye laser on the scars plus Sequel Scar Defense gel to help reduce hypertrophy.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would need surgery and it can probably be done under local anesthesia. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

It may not have been possible to remove that munchkin safely during the first procedure. It is, however safe to remove more skin as a secondary procedure once you’re healed up.
This is pretty straightforward and can probably be done in an office setting using local anesthesia.
If your surgeon isn’t willing to work with you, and I suggest having a few in person, second opinion, consultations with other providers in your community.
The lack of enthusiasm for your doctor to help you is disappointing to hear.
