Can somebody help me or point me In the right direction. Last year I had a breast augmentation/lift. My areolas where large and my surgeon has now left 2 brown stripes going down my breasts, and has said he can’t do anything for me. Can I get these removed, or can someone recommend laser treatment to camouflage this.

Answer: Breast lift This occasionally happens and is quite simple to fix. Just redo the vertical part. Very simple. Hard to believe your original surgeon doesn’t want to fix it

Answer: Removing excess areola skin It may not have been possible to remove that munchkin safely during the first procedure. It is, however safe to remove more skin as a secondary procedure once you’re healed up. This is pretty straightforward and can probably be done in an office setting using local anesthesia. If your surgeon isn’t willing to work with you, and I suggest having a few in person, second opinion, consultations with other providers in your community. The lack of enthusiasm for your doctor to help you is disappointing to hear. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
