Hello and thank you for your question! It is difficult to assess fully on the photo provided; however a rough "average" areolar diameter for females is around 4cm. That means half of people will have smaller and half of people will have larger areolas. So the real answer is "normal" can be a wide range (with different factors "causing" this) and it's also a personal preference. If you dislike the size of your areolas, I recommend an in-person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to explore your options for areolar reduction.

Breasts come in all shapes and sizes and that goes for the areola too! You are in the normal range. They can change in size and color over time, including during puberty, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.
