What can be done to correct congenital Symmastia?

I’ve had this condition for as long as I can remember when developing boobs. I want to know how this can be fixed so I have normal cleavage. I can feel a lot of tissue over my sternum and I find it difficult to buy bras and it’s uncomfortable. Is there anyone experienced with this? Thank you

Your breasts appear low on the chest wall and are bottoming out by the weight. Your skin has pulled off the external attachments. You would benefit from breast reduction to decrease the weight and pull of the external areas as well as liposuction over the sternal area.

Congenital symmastia can be corrected by liposuction and compression therapies like putting net sutures, negative pressure drains and/or compression pads. Liposuction will give you less scars. Removing the stitches early in 36-48 hours will not cause scarring.

From the photo you may have some improvement in shape with a lift and/or small reduction.  This would also allow for less pull on the medial tissues.  The symmastia may be improved with liposuction and compression.  See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

You could have a small reduction, which includes a lift, and liposuction could be done near your sternum to decrease tissue thickness there. Decreasing the weight of your breasts and lifting them would be the key.  Sutures could be added if needed.

I don’t think there is an easy surgical correction to your concern.
Reducing breast volume with a breast reduction will create less tissue, but it’s not going to move the breast further apart on your chest wall.
Unless you feel your breast are too large at breast reduction would not be indicated.
I think you’ll need to accept your body the way it is.
I don’t think there is a good procedure to correct this.

You should probably get some mastopexy with lifting, if you want no implants we can reaccomodate the tissue to get a widened intermammy space.
