I had 1 reconstructive surgery after my previous surgeon severely botched me . It’s much better than what it was before . But it’s still making me so depressed I don’t know what to do , what approach to take or how to fix this . Any recommendations would be appreciated. I can’t even look at myself anymore

Answer: How to present your problem Having had two surgeries and only showing one picture doesn’t allow us to make any type of assessment. We need to see it before and after pictures for each procedur in order to make an assessment of how things Are currently. You did not describe what you don’t like about the outcome or what the problem is. Follow up with your previous procedures and if that is not sufficient that schedule second opinion consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons. If you opt for a proper second opinion consultation then you should bring the operative reports and all before and after pictures for both previous procedures with you. We cannot tell what you’ve had done or even what the problem is that you don’t like with your single picture. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: BBL Revision You are encouraged to consult a board certified plastic surgeon. Revision cases are complicated and require an artistic eye. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
