So I got my lip fillers dissolved as I was experiencing migration. What I noticed is that after dissolving, my vermillion border became more blurred than before on the right side? I’m not sure why since I thought it was the migrating that causes blurring? And since getting it refilled it’s even more blurred. I’m worried that I will never get my sharp lip line back

Answer: It is related to the how the filler was removed, the type of filler you got, and how that filler was placed.
Go only way to find out if fillers are going to give an improvement is to try it. Based on your pictures, the contour doesn’t look all that distorted. Ask yourself if having fillers every six months for the rest of your life makes sense?
What works for one person may not work for somebody else. ...
Some patients may metabolize hyaluronic acid faster than others, and they might need to reapply fillers faster. If you feel like your lips are thinner, let your injector know and you could definitively work that out.
When people have An indentation in their lip from previous surgery, sometimes a targeted injection with microdroplet Silikon-1000 can fill the indentation permanently. It's not clear why you're temporary filler treatment was unsuccessful. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
