Hi! I've noticed that I developed a fat pocket above my lips and sides, kind of looking like a mustache filled with fat. Could this be old lip filler traveling around my face? What are the solutions for have this "mustache of fat" removed? I don't think filler nor Botox would be a solution to have it removed since it's a pocket sticking out of my face
Answer: Dissolve Filler HI and thank you for your question. It looks like you had filler that migrated up which could happen. When this happens, you need to get the filler dissolved. This is done by injection as well. It will not go away on its own. If it is not dissolved, every time you get filler in the area it will migrate to that pocket. Your injector that did your filler should also be able to dissolve it for you. Once dissolved you would give it at least weeks, at that point if more dissolving is needed it will be done if not than you should be cleared to get more filler in the area if wanted.

Answer: Swelling & Lumps after Lip Augmentation with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella) There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1 to 2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 minutes at a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: The fullness around the white part of your upper lip may be from too much filler. Based on your photos, your upper lip appearance is larger than your lower lip. Generally people's lower lips are bigger than their upper lips so if I had to guess, you have had more than a few lip augmentation treatments. This fullness that you were concerned about could simply be temporary filler from having too many upper lip treatments. If that is the case, your doctor should be able to consider a dissolving enzyme. I hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Lump after lip fillers This appear to be a lump of filer with possible scar and inflamatory tissue around. You should start your treatment with Hyaluronidase, an enzime that desolves HA filler. Additional treatment may be needed if this injection does not remove all swelling/lump. Hope this helps.

Answer: Fat pocket above lip Hello, and thank you for your question. It does look like this could be lip filler migration or filler from nasolabial folds if you have had that. My suggestion would be to hylenex the area with the doctor that preformed the procedure and start over if you would like full looking lips. More filler would accentuate the area and botox only inhibits movement. Good luck on your journey!
