5 months ago I had open septorhinoplasty with donor rib cartilage. The tip was narrowed and the dorsal hump removed. Since the cast was removed I have noticed a bend in my nose to my right and it hasn’t improved. I’ve also recently seen a small hard lump on the right side of my nose tip. Would I benefit from revision surgery after 12 months?

And examination and a review of your operative report would be helpful for determining the feasibility of revision rhinoplasty surgery. Your tip appears to veer towards your right, and the red arrow is likely pointing to a piece of cartilage which may become more pronounced as your swelling continues to resolve. Sometimes asymmetries at the nasal base correct when swelling dissipates. If you are severely dissatisfied with the appearance of your nose, now might be a reasonable time to procure your operative report, pre-operative photos, and consider meeting with several reputable revision rhinoplasty specialists.
