Would an alar rim graft suit my nose? My nostril are becoming more flared with age

I have a bump on the tip of my nose that has got more pronounced with age. I have flared nostrils anyway but I think this has caused the right side to be more pronounced. Overall I’m happy with the size of my nose but not the tip or flared nostrils.

Alarplasty is almost irreversible. In order to reverse it grafts need to be taken from the ears and placed in the area of the missing tissue where the nose meets the cheek. It does widen the nostril but there are visible scars. Regards Dr. J

In most cases Alarplasty is sufficient to achieve the appearance of a narrow nasal base or bottom half. However, some patients have bulbous or wide tip as well. In those cases you need both done. Based on your photos it is best to do both. Regards Dr. J
