redness and pain after surgery can be a sign of infection. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon and get an examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

At ten weeks post op you are a good way through your recovery. It is best to have this change evaluated by your surgeon as it is new and painful. This could be a sign of infection which requires treatment.

Hi. I think that any redness in this situation gives one reasonable cause to see your surgeon and have them evaluate the underlying cause, and treat accordingly if necessary. All the best.
