Hypothetical question but what would happen if I got 2 more sculptra vials injected just 2 weeks after the first initial treatment date where 2 vials were injected? Would it be safe to do so?

Answer: 2 weeks too soon There is no obvious clear reason to inject a 3rd and 4th vial 2 weeks after the first two vials. You may want to get some more information as to why this was suggested. The filler takes 2-3 mos to start "working" - adding more so soon goes against the point of this filler, which is a gradual correction. I suppose if you have a lot of hollowing and volume loss, and needed 3 vials at the first visit, then the question would be why 3 weren't done in the first visit. In general 1-3 vials is a standard dose. Be well.

Answer: Sculptra -- Intervals Between Treatments While you can inject Sculptra as often as two week intervals, you may be wasting money. The ideal interval is 4 to 6 weeks between treatments to allow maximum collagen growth. Best of Luck,Suneel Chilukuri, M.D.Houston, TX
