Getting Sculptra treatment 2 weeks apart a good idea?

Hypothetical question but what would happen if I got 2 more sculptra vials injected just 2 weeks after the first initial treatment date where 2 vials were injected? Would it be safe to do so?

You can inject sculptra more often but you may overfill an area or predispose to lumps/bumps. I'd suggest waiting 4-6 week intervals or even longer depending on your starting point.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would not recommend having Sculptra treatments two weeks apart.  My recommendation would be to wait a minimum of one month between treatments.  Having the treatments closer than a month apart could potentially increase the risk of unwanted side effects.

Having your second Sculptra treatment performed 2 weeks after the first would not raise any safety issues. However it is not an optimal interval between treatments.  It is best to wait at least 4-6 weeks to allow the Sculptra particles to stimulate your collagen renewal.  You would likely lose some effectiveness by injecting the subsequent treatment too soon.

There is no obvious clear reason to inject a 3rd and 4th vial 2 weeks after the first two vials.  You may want to get some more information as to why this was suggested.  The filler takes 2-3 mos to start "working" - adding more so soon goes against the point of this filler, which is a gradual correction.  I suppose if you have a lot of hollowing and volume loss, and needed 3 vials at the first visit, then the question would be why 3 weren't done in the first visit.  In general 1-3 vials is a standard dose.  Be well.
