Intermittent stinging pain 3 weeks after rhinoplasty. Is this normal?

I've just gone past 3 weeks post op and for the last week and a half i get odd stinging pains in my nose. I had open rhinoplasty on the tip and part of the bone shaved down. I haven't had any nose bleeds or bad smells. Is this normal? The tip is still a little tender to touch and swollen.
