Dear jungleK, Thank you for your clinical post. Sorry that you had the unfortunate trauma to your head such a short time after your rhinoplasty. However, from your clinical description it doesn’t sound like the nose itself was traumatized. As long as there was no acute soft tissue trauma, swelling, pain, bleeding or dislodgement to your nose and the appearance has not been affected then I think you can rest assured that the head trauma, although concerning, has not affected the results or either short or long-term that you’ll have following your rhinoplasty. Certainly call the office of your rhinoplasty surgeon and seek clinical examination if you are concerned, but it looked like you avoided disaster and best to keep your nose out of the line of fire over the next 6 weeks.
