Answer: How can I improve my jawline and angle under my chin? Dear Burnsy, Thanks for your question and photos. The definitive answer would only come after a face-to-face consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon. Because you are staring to have some early jowling I have to make the assumption that your neck "angle" is due to skin laxity and not just a litle extra fat pad under your chin. Because of this, I think you are correct to think that a mini-facelift with a necklift is the best option for you. This operation would reduce the fatty deposit under your neck (if you have one) but more importantly it would re-drape and tighten the skin of your neck and jawline, The incisions would be placed around your ears and you could anticipate about one week for sufficient recovery to return to work. A "cervicoplasty" (with an incision under your chin alone) would not address the early laxity of the skin along the jawline. Good luck
