I'm a 37 year old woman and I'm very unhappy with my jawline and the angke underneath my chin,, I've seen several surgeons in uk all look at me like I'm mad,, what the best option for me,,, I've been researching mini facelift would this be the right option for me??
Answer: Neck Lift or Liposuction You could consider neck liposuction, possibly with laser to help skin retraction. You would need to be examined to see how lax your neck skin is and if you have loose platysma muscle, which will determine if you need a neck lift.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Jaw & Chin Hi Burnsy .Thanks for your question. There are many ways to rejuvenate the neck area based on your age, skin and muscle laxity, chin projection, fat deposition, and the presence/absence of jowls. A physical examination is really needed for the best evaluation. Given that you are 37, you may or may not have enough skin laxity to need a necklift. If not, then neck liposuction may work for you to smooth out the contour under your chin. If you lack chin projection, then a chin implant will help even more. The photograph you posted is at an oblique angle, so I cannot comment on your chin projection. If you do have enough skin laxity, then a necklift may work for you. Good luck. Best, Dr H

Answer: Jawline Enhancement It would be helpful to see other photographic angles of your face and jawline. But just looking at the profile view, your jawline and chin look short and there is a lack of skeletal support for the soft tissue. I don't think any form of a facelift or skin tightening is going to create the change you desire. You will need to consider chin and jawline augmentation to add skeletal volume.

Answer: How can I improve my jawline and angle under my chin? Dear Burnsy, Thanks for your question and photos. The definitive answer would only come after a face-to-face consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon. Because you are staring to have some early jowling I have to make the assumption that your neck "angle" is due to skin laxity and not just a litle extra fat pad under your chin. Because of this, I think you are correct to think that a mini-facelift with a necklift is the best option for you. This operation would reduce the fatty deposit under your neck (if you have one) but more importantly it would re-drape and tighten the skin of your neck and jawline, The incisions would be placed around your ears and you could anticipate about one week for sufficient recovery to return to work. A "cervicoplasty" (with an incision under your chin alone) would not address the early laxity of the skin along the jawline. Good luck
