I have a rhinoplasty 6 years ago. Can I get my nose pierced?

Thanks for the question. You can wear your piercing after 6 years. In my practice 1-2 months is enough time to wait. Then, if you talk to your surgeon and get approval, there is no obstacle to having a piercing. I wish you all the best.

Yes it should be fine for you to get your nose pierced. I would go to the surgeon who did the procedure and ask him/her for an opinion.

There should be no issues with you getting your nose pierced if you are getting it placed in one of the nostrils. Be aware and watch your nose after the piercing to note any redness or swelling. If this is the case, you should schedule an appointment with your rhinoplasty surgeon to avoid any further complications. 

In general, it is fine to get your nose pierced 6 years after your Rhinoplasty.  Just to be on the safe side, consult with your surgeon since he is the one who knows what was done in your procedure.  Best wishes!
