I don't have a crease under my breasts? (photos)

Hello I'm 1 month post op and haven't developed a crease under my breasts yet so my scars are very visible. Will I develop a crease over time which will hide the scars? I had 255cc silicone under the muscle

Your implants are still sitting too high because it is still early. Your final result will be around three months post op. If by then your implants haven't come down, your surgeon will re-evaluate you.

Thank you for your question and provided photos. You appear to have a very good result for one month post breast augmentation. It would be helpful to have a pre-op photo for comparison. With that being said, your implants will take some time to settle. In the process, your breast shape will improve and become more defined. I would expect you to see an improved inframammary fold in this process. These findings do take some time based on the procedure performed and the individual patient's pre-op starting point. Try to be patient. I think you will ultimately be very pleased. Congratulations on your recent surgery. Also, don't ever hesitate to contact your surgeon with any concerns.

Thank you for your question. You are still very early in your post-operative healing process, and your implants will continue to settle over the next few months. As they drop more into place, your infra-mammary fold will continue to develop and will hide the appearance of your incision scars.

Your implants are still high and need more time to drop.  This process can take several months.  Breast massage can help to speed up the process, but should only be started after consulting with your surgeon. I would discuss your concerns with your surgeon at your next post-operative visit.  I think everything will be fine. Best of luck.

Your implants are positioned a bit high on your chest wall.  This typically improves with time.  You can likely start some massage of the implants downward to help this process but be sure your plastic surgeon is fine with this.  If the implants remain soft, then you should see a gradual improvement in the position of the implants and the crease.

The crease is created when the breast tissue will fall slightly below the inframammary fold. From your pictures it is visible that your implants are "riding high." It requires at least 3-6 months for them to drop and fluff. For some patients this can happen sooner.At my clinic, we recommend downward and inward breast massaging, and may even prescribe the use of pole wraps to help the breasts drop. Please follow up with your surgeon to make sure your breasts are healing beautifully. Remember, their post-operative instructions take precedence over everything else you read here. Hope this helps.

It takes 6 months for the implants to settle. At this time, the lower pole of the breast will relax and expand allowing the implant to settle a bit into the pocket. Your IMF creases are present currently. The scar will elevate slightly in 6 months. The location of the breast augmentation scar can reduce the risk of the scar being visible after augmentation. When the breast is firm and round the fold may not be well defined, and for some the periareolar or under the arm approach will have benefit. At present your implants are high and unsettled, and over time you are likely to see some fold develop to help cover the scar.
