Trying to predict the amount of fat to be removed and basing a liposuction plan on it isn't a good idea. Your surgeon should suction the amount of fat in each area that produces the prettiest contour. This requires constant, careful evaluation as the surgery proceeds and is never predictable in advance. I would discuss your goals with your surgeon in advance and make sure you're on the same page.
Body contouring/liposuction has evolved over the past years and is not just about fat reduction but more so about sculpting and defining -- which means the number/amount of fat removed shouldnt matter too much. In patients who have smaller problem areas, you want an energy based device to help melt fat and tighten skin. as well, it helps to define and shape the musculature. This type of liposuction requires a specialized body contouring specialist who is trained in 4D hi definition procedures and can do fat removal with both deep and superficial liposculpture. Please see an expert for sculpting and defining procedures, whos practice is dedicated to these types of surgeries. Best, Dr. Emer.
I'm not sure how your surgeon would know how much fat will be removed? The esthetic end point of cosmetic surgery is the appearance on the surgical table. Without your pictures its difficult to tell what your possible outcome maybe.
Weight and height is not sufficient information to determine how much fat needs to be removed.Much of this has to do with fat distribution and what is being attempted. This should have been brought up during your consultation.I suggest another discussion with your surgeon prior to the procedure.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
Unfortunately, without photos and/or a physical exam it would be difficult to state how much fat could be reasonably removed in your case. Even with an exam, your surgeon will only be able to give you an estimate of the total volume to be removed. Ask your surgeon to show you pre and post op photos of patients similar to you. This should give you a good idea as to what can be achieved. Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
I would agree with Dr. Hagstrom. I don't think non-surgical treatments such as Coolsculpting or Ultrashape will give you as good a result as further conservative liposuctioning of the relatively prominent areas. As Dr. Hagstrom pointed out, the skin in the inner thigh is thin, has...
It's best to begin by consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is highly-experienced with both Vaser liposuction and liposuction revisions. With any surgical #procedure and #revision, there are some risks of unhappy outcome or other complications which your surgeon should discuss ...
Hi, it is difficult to assess without photos, but do not panic as this may be your suture. Sutures are typically removed within 7 to 10 days of surgery. It is best to strictly follow the prescribed aftercare for best results and contact your surgeon immediately regarding this concern. Best of...
