Had a FUE two days ago now and paid for a 3000 graft / 9000 hair transplant. 9000 hairs seems a lot to me and I was under the impression it would cover the whole of the top of my scalp, however the Dr suggested that it would be best to make the hair line thicker at the front in order to give the impression of more hair. I have attached two photos but I'm not sure if this is really 3000 grafts? Can anyone give me an idea of how many grafts they think has been transplanted from the photos? Thanks

Answer: It would be best to ask for your surgical report. 9000 hairs seem very high for one surgery.
Sometimes small nerves are cut during a hair transplant in the recipient area. This rea usually heals and the pain should disappear over a month or two
Stress should not impact the new hair that is transplanted but willi impact the native hair that remains as this is subject to genetic balding which is made worse by stress
Clipping the frontal hair grafts should not be done for a month after a hair transplant for fear or the clipper pulling out a graft. After a month, it is ok
