Question

Its been 70 days that i had FUE hair transplant of 3500 grafts...my donor area still didn't healed properly there is still a lot of redness and the patch is quite visible..when can i get rid of this redness??and is there anything serious regarding this redness?why is it still there?

Sometimes surgical site redness can persist for 3 months or more following a procedure.  Since there were many small incisions made into the skin, the redness in your case is generalized.  It does not appear to be anything more that post-surgical inflammation, but it would be a good idea to make an appointment with your surgeon for a proper examination.  As the redness resolves, the donor site demarcation should become less noticeable.  Good luck!

It would be best to contact your doctor if you have issues after your surgery.  Redness after three months is not normal.

The pink color is unusual after 2 months. I would go back to see your doctor and ask for an examination and why the pink color remains

It is not that uncommon to still have a little redness and inflammation in the donor, or even recipient area up to 3 months or so post op. As long as you don't feel any other symptoms like pain or inflammation, it is most likely nothing to be concerned about. It never hurts to follow up with the doctor that performed the procedure if you have any questions as well.
