Endoscopic cheek lift is the more controlled version of regular cheek lift. In endoscopic cheek or midface lift, small incisions are done in the hairline, and the cameras and instruments are introduced from these holes. The nerves, vessels are better identified instead of doing it blind, and the ligaments and bands are released in a very precise manner, that we need to raise the middle face and brows. 
Regular mid-face may be done from the lower eyelid incisions, and this technique might be needed in some patients instead of endoscopic technique.
so, finally there are many ways to correct upper and middle face sagging, and the technique to be chosen may vary according to the specific situation of the patient.
