Forehead reduction or hairline lowering for males?

Which prosecute works better for males (because many men end up going bald in there elderly years) the forehead reduction surgery wear they just cut the skin off right below the hairline and pull it in resulting in a smaller forehead or just getting hairline lowering using FUE?

Most men undergo hair transplant to change their hairline, although hairline lowering via a reduction of the forehead skin and advancement of the hairline is used in select cases.   Without pictures or further description I could not comment further on you specifically.

Greetings, please see below. It is hard to find doctors for forehead lowering since they need to be experts in 2 areas.  First of all, doctors need to be experts in facial plastic surgery or plastic surgery to lift up the scalp area and advanced along the forehead.  The galea is released during this.  A key component is hiding the scar along the border of the scalp.
The second component is being an expert in hair transplantation.  The hairline is lowered and the scar is camouflaged through hair transplants. 
Look for a surgeon specializing both plastic surgery of the face and who does hair transplants.

Excellent question. Every patient must be evaluated individually because the choice will depend on many factors such as the individual's age, previous hair loss, and family history. Consult with a surgeon who uses all of these techniques including forehead reduction and hair replacement surgery.

For men, my concern is in the potential balding that may occur in your future as most balding starts in young men and is progressive so it advances with age until the mid-thirties or even later. If that happened to you (your risk) then you will have to get a hair transplant to cover it as the frontal area is the place where genetic balding starts in most men. If you are under 24, you may become a set-up for hairline recession so that if you lower the hairline with an advancement surgery, hair loss that will occur behind the scar. If you develop balding, it will require a hair transplant to keep up with the recession and the scar from the advancement will show.  A hairline advancement procedure is not the best option for a male but a hair transplant lowering procedure allows you to follow the recession back if and when it should occur.
