I am not aware of any scientific data on the benefits of coconut oil,but on the other hand it is probably harmless as a moisturizer.I would be wary of using it on the recipient area at this point but I suppose it would be ok on the donor area.I would suggest checking with your surgeon.
If you have post surgical issues or after care concerns it is best to contact your doctor as each doctor may have different opinions. There is no post surgical benefit of using coconut oil.
10 days is possibly a little early for coconut oil. I personally advise my patients to wait 2-3 weeks before applying any sort of hair products, gels, oils, etc. But, maybe your doctor has other instructions they want you to follow, so really they probably would give you the best answer.
After 10 days if you want to use coconut oil on your donor or recipient area, go for it as it will not harm you
