I am a 20 year old model my nasolabial folds have progressively gotten deeper and fine lines seem to be creeping down lower towards the corners of my mouth my family genetically has deep smile lines but my smile lines make me feel old. I would like to fill the lines but have heard some negative things about fillers and don't necessarily want to have excessive upkeep.
Answer: Dermal fillers Hi @hdepodz. I would suggest you consider hyaluronic acid dermal fillers like Restylane Defyne for your nasolabial folds/laugh lines. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Soft Tissue Fillers for Facial Creases Soft tissue fillers are typically the best way to address these types of facial creases and when they are administered by an experienced injector, the treatment is safe and effective. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Vollure tend to be the most popular for nasolabial folds. Most of these treatments offer results that last up to a year or more. There is some maintenance involved with these procedures, it is not as frequently as you might think.

Answer: Fillers for nasolabial folds I would suggest you consider filler (e.g. Juvederm, Restylane, etc) for your nasolabial folds/laugh lines. You may also benefit from some malar cheek filler which would also help to reduce the look of the nasolabial folds. An expert injector (e.g. dermatologist) can provide you optimal results (ie. natural look) and safety.

Answer: Nasolabial fold fillers Thank you for your inquiry and the photos. I can definitely understand your question and concerns. Many patients ask about filling the nasolabial folds. While they can certainly be softened with filler in the actual crease, their progression throughout time is most often a result of fat loss in the cheek area. This loss leads to sagging of your lower face and deeper folds. Experienced physicians will most likely discuss primarily replacing this fat loss with filler before attacking your folds themselves. You will need to repeat the treatment, especially if you like the results, the frequency is dependent on the type of filler your physician chooses. Most importantly, if you want good results, please be sure to seek out an experienced injector. He or she will then choose the appropriate product and inject it safely and appropriately to avoid you appearing overfilled.
