They office staff was friendly, informative, and patient with all the questions I had. In a different office, I was made to feel embarrassed by wanting a larger bust and told what I should do by a male doctor. Not what I wanted to do. Dr. Joanne Lopes made me feel comfortable and asked me what my goals were, instead of pushing her own ideas on to me. I'm happy with the outcome. For my size I wanted to go a bit larger. I feel beautiful. Updated on 20 Jul 2021: From May 11th to July 20th. They look amazing! It was a difficult process for me, but I am extremely happy with the results and it was well worth it. I'm finally starting to feel like myself again, and back to doing light working out. They are still a bit on the firmer side. Can't wait until they soften up.
I had my labiaplasty on the 21st of April. I was not nervous going in rather excited. I did local anesthesia and that was totally compared I would think to doing it while asleep. I am currently on marek 1 1/2 and I can’t wait to get back to exercising! Minimal pain, except I did not take my pills in time because I was asleep the first night and woke up in some of the worst pain ever. I cried for about 2hrs until the medication kicked in and I took it down with two Advil to subside it. That was the last and only time I felt pain in this journey at all. Not even through the surgery!
Extremely professional doctor. She has great attention to details. Excellent staff, they take care of you, very sweet. She does phenomenal work. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She makes you feel very comfortable and confident. You won’t be disappointed.
I love THIS WOMAN AND HER Staff. They are all amazing! The whole EXPERIENCE was Extremely comfortable and although I was only under Local anesthesia, which means awake, if you didn't know, (like I did) it wasn't bad at all. I could even talk to them, normal. I had conversations throughout the whole surgery!!! The staff were a great team and worked together! They were also comedic. I had three people attending to me, I actually felt the TLC!!! EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN FUN PERSONALITY! It was beyond what I expected, and MORE!!! In a GOOD WAY!!! I had the labiaplasty!!! The pain is not bad at all!!! I'm on day 1
My experience here was wonderful. I was more that happy with the results that I had from the Coolsculpting to my abdomen and am now starting on my arms. I have always struggled with these areas and now I no longer have to! The Coolsculping itself was simple and I didn't have to mess with healing time. I can fit back into clothes I thought I was going to have to part with this summer. Thank you to Rachel and Dr. Lopes!
After losing 50+ pounds naturally, I had lost the plump, perky breasts and having what was leftover at the age of 29, I felt as if I had lost my womanhood. I decided to reward myself with a breast lift first and then augmentation after the healing is done. Updated on 15 Dec 2018: Updated on 16 Dec 2018: Healing nicely, no pain, just soreness. 2nd post op shower.
I was referred to Dr. Lopes by a long time friend. I needed a breast reduction. The orientation visit and each visit thereafter leading up to and after the surgery was great. Dr. Lopes' staff was very attentive and helped answer ALL my questions.
Excellent! Dr.Lopes, Kryssy and Kim were AMAZING!!! They answered all my questions from start to finish. From that first phone call I felt like I was at home. They are very kind and genuine. My treatment was fast and I didn’t have any bruising. I love the result. This office is top notch.
I had breast implants and lipo on my stomach. Very happy with everything! Would use dr lopes again! I spent many year breastfeeding my kids, which left my breast very deflated! Dr Lopes said I could do just implants and not a lift, they look great now. I did 325ccs, which took me to a 34D. My stomach doesn’t look as good as before kids, but I’m pleased and rocking a bikini for sure!
I went to Md.Lopes because a friend referred her and she had a special going on. But I knew what I wanted and did my research and after checking the surgeons in the area. I ended back with Dr Lopes and I'm so glad I did her attention to detail and staff did everything to make sure I got what I wanted and was Very professional,Courteous as well.I chose the right M.D. and I got excellent results . Any concerns I had were answered,She gave her honest professional opinion But she gave me Exactly what I wanted. Im so happy I went with her !!!!!
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to answer your question given that there are no pre-operative photos. However, the post operative photos on Sideview demonstrate a flat abdomen. I also think the frontal view demonstrates a nice contour . Giving these photos I feel that you have a very good result. I think it is important for you discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon .
Thank you for your question. I do not think there is any actual protocol on how long to stop drinking alcohol prior to surgery. Different surgeons have different protocols and therefore it is important for you to consult with your surgeon. In my practice I usually have patients stop drinking alcohol one week prior to their surgery.
You are correct in that abdominoplasty is your best option for the loose skin on your lower abdomen . It will provide you the best abdominal contouring. Coolsculpting to transformation would require multiple applications .It can sometimes be more expensive than an abdominoplasty in certain patients . An evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.
Coolsculpting is not used for the face . Typical treatment for marrionette folds is some type of filler or surgery . Their are many options for filler with the most popular being a hyaluronic acid . Fat transfer may also be an option . Finally , a mini facelift or full face might be indicated .Evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended.
Since you are 17 days post fat grafting applying pressure to the area against the bone may help. This usually breaks up the fat and allows reabsorption. I would recommend being evaluated by your plastic surgeon to determine what is needed . Remember that not all of the fat transferred is going to take and tjhis is early in your postprocedure period.
