Eyebrow transplant using pubic hair instead of scalp hair?

Question

Got eyebrows tattooded 5 times over 20 years because they never grew back completely after over tweezing them. My hair is thinning and would rather look into using pubic hair which is straight, short, thick and not curly at all. Would the donor site be risky , painful, look weird? What is appx. cost for procedure? Looking for a full beautiful eyebrow. Last tattoo scab pulled off at least 50% of my brow hair which I doubt will grow back, will it? It was very aggressive, I was swollen for days. Thank You.

Eyebrow transplantation is a common procedure and almost always due to overplucking. Donor hair can be taken from anywhere in the body. The most common donor areas are the temples or the hair in the posterior lower neck. The pubic area is also a good donor site for some patients. The transplanted hair will look the same as it does from the original site.

You can use any part of the body for donor hair, but pubic hair is not a typical request.  It has been done (even arm pit hair) on certain circumstances but you would need to discuss this with the doctor.  You will have scarring in the donor area.
