I am a late 60s woman in good health, relatively speaking. Would like the procedure for my neck and the corners of my mouth where I have excess skin that droops. Am I a candidate even though I'm on the blood thinner? Any help would be appreciated.

Answer: Hello Chrissie, Nothing can replace a thorough history and physical exam but generally speaking the ThermiTight procedure can be performed. You may experience more bruising than someone not on blood thinners. I do not routinely take any of my patients off of blood thinners when using radiofrequency technology. We have been very excited with the results we are seeing in our ThermiTight patients. Please discuss all medications with your surgeon before the procedure.
