How long can lipo affect my menstrual balance that i can be concerned (after surgery directly or it may persist for 4 months with minor abnormalities )

Answer: Surgery such as liposuction can affect the menstrual cycle. Significant surgery which liposuction can be may affect the menstrual cycle. This should correct itself in couple of months. If problems persist discuss this with your gynecologist.

Answer: Liposuction and cycle Thank you for your question. It is one that, I'd bet, many women have but never really ask. Certainly any stress event (including surgery) can cause changes in hormone levels and menstruation. An OB/GYN physician is likely to be the best person to ask if the changes persist longer than a few months after the procedure. Best wishes
