Thank you for your question. It is one that, I'd bet, many women have but never really ask. Certainly any stress event (including surgery) can cause changes in hormone levels and menstruation. An OB/GYN physician is likely to be the best person to ask if the changes persist longer than a few months after the procedure. Best wishes
