Seroma has become solid. Is this normal?

Hello..I have done liposuction before two months and had seroma in my lower abdomen..The DR removed it and after one week I went for consultation to see if it reform again he told me every thing is ok now after one month I feel the area of the seroma became solid and its not flat please tell me is this part of normal process? Thank you

Usually seroma formation is associated with laser assisted or ultrasonically assisted liposuction. This thermal damage can create a sizable amount of tissue injury they can create hard lumps lasting for months or longer.

Hi Sara,Its not that your Seroma has become solid.The area of liposuction specially the area  that had trouble like seroma will be firm at this stage and you have swelling in this area.It will need kind of massage or endermology (LPG) to make it soft and the area uniform.Its also called lymphatic massage which is normally done by Spa people.I hope you find some on who can do it for you.I wish you good luck
